The mail was running late yesterday, but I finally received - on the same day - a pair of Shimano 105 pedals (to go with the rest of the 105 group on my 2011 Giant Defy 1, purchased on Monday), a Cateye Wireless computer, and a 12-pack of 16oz CO2 cartridges for my Genuine Innovations air chuck. Lotsa swag the past week, but I think I'm done for now (have a couple of BBB Aerocages en route).

today over lunch I had to stop by SportsAuthority to pick up football stuff for my oldest boy (quick brag time - he's QB on his team, last game he ran 1td from 80yds out, another from 45yds out, and threw 1 for about 35yds, scored 3 of the teams 4 extra pt tries, and made the shutout saving tackle from their last kickoff - he's also the kicker - in their 27-0 game, kids got game yo! ;) )

anyway, picked up an el cheapo set of glasses from there to ride in an put my heavy ass oakley x-metal xx's back to non-sporting use... picked up a set of Style Eyes Kingpins, surprisingly good optics, price was only 24.99, quite happy with the purchase...

especially considering its his first year playing tackle... he's in 5th grade... and i've been told he's a good lookin kid, he plays guitar (loves blues), is a year ahead in each of his classes, and wants a road bike next year for his bday... yes, he's smart, musically talented, and a jock on top of being cute... I need to buy stock in Trojan and Lifestyles!! LOL!!
