Throw the stick!!!!
That isn't a red, it's the 975, or whatever number that is. The red can't use the Quarq since it doesn't have a removable spider.

It's a SRAM/Quarq (SRAM acquired Quarq recently) S975 Cinco with compact Red rings. Got it brand new off eBay for less than $1600. I've only used it once and so far so good. I still don't know what I'm doing when it comes to riding with power, but it's pretty cool to be able to see your exact output regardless of the circumstances.

975 uses the same construction in the arms as Red. 900 = Force.

People act like they are different cranks. The spider (Quarq spider, for example) and maybe the chain rings vary, but the crank arms are the exact same. I know this because I had S900 cranks on my 2011 R3 with BBright. Same crank arms as my S975 Quarq.

You sure about this? As I understood it, the S900 and S975 are the exact same crank. Only difference is the 975 is the power meter version.

There is a Quarq with these cranks at a local shop..

Wow. Nice bike. I'm new to cycling and still have a lot to learn...is this a TT bike, or just fine for primarily road riding? Looks like a REALLY nice bike for the price. May I ask where you got it? Yes...I want one. : - )

MTB short-nosed (balls friendly) seat. Unfortunately, it is the wrong size. Had my sit bones measured at the Specialized store. They are friggin' 153mm. I apparently have a HUGE ass.
Sprang for some Louis Garneau 3d Sensor Fit shorts. Feels okay.

I've been in bike-nerd nirvana of late:
-New Felt AR3 (and of course saddle, pedals, cages, soon-to-be wheels, etc)
-New bottom bracket, chain, cables, housings, bar tape, and pedals for my "old" bike (now my training/crit bike)
-New (to me) Trek XO1 cyclocross bike (and of course new saddle, pedals, cages, etc)
I feel like I've been hemorrhaging cash for the last month. In a bittersweet way, I'm glad it's done (for now).

I bought it off someone at the Slowtwitch.com classifieds. Full sram red =D. Now I just need to find a 90 mm stem and sell the wheels...
