Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Still the cheapest Contour HD i saw was like triple the costs. But I will have to test it out and see what the wuality is actually like. What couple of videos I took so far all came out very well with minimal light too. no complaints yet.

If it's good enough to pick out license plates, and hopefully faces, then it's fine.

Need to replace the BB on my Carbon bike and want to really take a good look at the Allez for possible crankset upgrade.

I actually did notice a huge difference rotating the pedals backwards on the stand. However, I bought them for looks not function so any friction or weight removed is an added plus.

I know, but I needed a new chain ring, and it was $5. I'm going to buy another round one. I just want to ride it tomorrow, and no one has any other rings in stock around here.

Yeah, I have one in my Trek. Everything Extralite makes is golden. I'm setting off on a 12.99lbs or less mission this winter, and it will incorporate a Extralite stem, among other things.

I discovered the problem on Wednesday. It's no biggie. I have been wanting to try an oval ring, for sometime. The cross rig is the perfect test bed, especially for $5. All my other bikes are 110bcd, and all they had was 130, so it was really the only way. I've also been wanting to try a 42t on that bike. So it accomplished both goals. I may not try it tomorrow anyway. They changed the forecast, so I may take my Cervelo out again instead. I was planning on some nasty cross riding.

Weird I just took it for a quick ride. I really can't even tell the biopace isn't round. It seems about the same pedaling that is. Plus I haven't dropped a chain yet, which is why I needed a new chainring.
