Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good stuff Farrama. I posted a link to the Mercier SC2 in another thread just 2 or 3 days ago. Ridiculous value for entry level rider. I might get one as a gift for a family memebr and with the price so low it would almost be stupid not to.

Well your right, that video was cheesy. I kept thinking the camera guy was falling off his bike.

You need more pics of closeups of the bike as you go by so people can see the brand and the bike because it's a great looking bike and it seems in the film your almost too afraid to show it. Have you used the Microshift Arsis system yet? And if so what did you think of it compared to other groups?

Lol, I am the camera guy. It's just that the camera is attached to the helmet (Still playing with WHERE) and I haven't quite learned to keep my head still yet. I ride 105, but yes I have ridden the Arsis MS and it is pretty sweet. I wouldn't trade in my 105 for it, but for the money, the looks and design are definitely up to snuff. Tom, the owner of SuperiorLite bike was riding his first prototype frame (2008) he designed as the (Elite) model, but I believe it was too costly to produce. It is a nice bike, however his new ride he just finished is definitely even nicer, which he will take out next time. I know he has some 2012 frames coming out in red and limon green, so the bike was not that important for this ride/video. Once again, this video was simply a test of some new software (Power Director Pro 9) and the new camera (Action Cam) which I posted about a page or 2 ago.
Next time, I'll try to keep my head straight.

Shimano Ultegra BB6700 bottom bracket and a Park BB-9 tool. I love these new BBs with the external bearing cups - so easy to work on.

The Lezyne Steel Floor Drive is $59, has a very accurate gauge and is of very high quality. I have the "Classic", it is great for both road and mountain tires.

From a couple recent trips to Anaconda ...
-- two long-sleeved polypro tops
-- short-fingered cycling gloves
-- bell
-- several books, all on sale: "Cycling in Cuba", "Cycling in West Coast USA", Joe Friel's The Cyclist's Training Bible, and a couple others which are wandering around the house

And from WOW ...
