Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How are you finding this? At student age a £200 jacket seems a bit far stretched to me but it's the only cycling jacket that i've ever liked the look at... and according to their website it is actually a rain proof version of their wind jacket (which is a big selling point for me) - have you found this?

Cheers!

Random Trip to Performance always costs me at least a hundred bucks.

The Forte Pro+ in Grey for me and in Blue for my buddy with a matching blue c'dale. Tubes, just cause and scattante echelon multi-lens glasses.

Broke down and ordered a CycleOps Fluid 2 trainer from Neuvation. Had been borrowing a friends for the past couple of weeks to see if I would like it. I do. It was deal of the day; nice price, free delivery.

I love it. I was very impressed with how waterproof it is, how good the cut/fit is, and how breathable it is. It is on the pricy side though and for what it's worth, I don't think I would have purchased it at full price.

Recently bought this:

And couldn't be happier with it. Just what the doctor ordered.

And today these came up on Bonktown:

... and I took the bait after two of my friends decided to play enabler. Yay moar arrowzz!

I just got home from a week long business trip and found out my fiancé had a great surprise for me. A brand new giro ionos in black that I've been eyeing up for months. I waited it out and negotiated the store down to 119 on it before I left but couldn't pull the trigger since I was leaving. She did it for me and even got the same deal. That's love

Got them for $34.95 BNIB

Walking around REI I saw they were on clearance for $35. Asked the cashier and he said it was a mistake as they rung up for $89.99 but would honor the price mistake.

Or you could have gotten it at Competitive Cyclist at $119 without the hassle.

Yeah but they only have blue/black and matte/titanium left in black and who wants to wait for or pay for shipping. Plus this one was free.
