Soloist Assassin 06-20-12 03:00 PM

I'm siding with the hater. That has to be the most ridiculous cycling product ever produced.

VA_Esquire 06-20-12 03:01 PM

brandini 06-20-12 03:05 PM

I should have gone with the anodized collars too. Simply to see more foaming at the mouth of the 41. :)

Soloist Assassin 06-20-12 03:06 PM

The sad thing is, I am sure there are even more ridiculous cycling products.

merlinextraligh 06-20-12 03:08 PM

Don't forget the ones with the LEDs too.

I wasn't insinuating that I've used the same tubes all those years, I too just switch them to new tubes and throw the black ones away. Sometimes I get frosty clear caps and I have those on another bike for so many years I can't remember. I keep a spare set of black ones just in case I loose a cap, how's that for being anal?

they dont stock that one at the shop so i gotta wait til next week to get it. they put me on a romin comp in that size til then. FAR more comfy than my stock saddle. now i know what it's like to have support under my sits bones instead of all my weight sitting on my gooch. i'm also waiting on my 58mm carbon clinchers i ordered. i hate waiting.

Billet aluminum presta valve caps... Plastic ones were starting to strip out cause of being removed and put back on all the time. These are nice and solid and weigh almost nothing as well.

Very badass but you should've bought the red valve stem collars to complement your red anodized billet aluminum valve caps.

HOTT!!!

Thanks,

I'll post it there when I get it finished. Crank, seat, handlebars, spacers, are placeholders, waiting for parts and dialing the fit in.

A set of Vredestein innertubes, and an SKS Airgun:

I bought a 2010 trek 520 touring bike.

After reading the pedals thread, I decided I had to have a pair of Time RXS Carbons. I will see if they are as comfortable as the Look 296's I've had for years...

shoota 06-22-12 03:02 PM

I bought a pair of gloves!! For $24! for the wife..

primov8 06-22-12 04:13 PM

Bought a used Giant Roam. We vacation in Clearwater each year and the last 5 years, I've bought a bike while we're down here and either flip it while I'm down here, or take it back and sell it in Indy. It's pretty cool actually though I doubt I'll actually keep it.

Accessories and saddle didn't come with the bike. I brought them.

Where is Clearwater? That looks pretty damn nice!

shoota 06-22-12 07:07 PM

It's in Tampa Bay Fl, next to me, and that begs the question.. why in the world would you vacation there every year?

Free (to me) time share.

We try to take one other vacation elsewhere, but the powers that be like the beach. I personally could get by on one trip to the beach per decade if it meant being able to spend more time out west or in New England.
