Holux GPS Sport 245

It's my first GPS for my bike, so it took me quite a while to figure it out. Riding my bike around my building in my cargo shorts and flip flops to save data.

For reference if someone else buys this, the software that came with it didn't work with Google maps. The version that came with it is 1.05. You must load 2.01, which you can easily find by searching on Google. Google changed the API key and the 1.05 won't work with it, you'll keep getting error messages. Once I figured this out, though (and reloaded about 3 times) it works like a charm.

Just in time for my first century tomorrow!

Took mine in to the shop for a check up, told the shop owner the rear hub was making more noise than usual. when I went back to get it it he had cleaned it, adjuster shifters, lubed chain, and lubed the rear hub. Thank you Bike Shop owner.

I ordered the compact as well. Not sure if I will use the power balance feature or not, don't know that it will really do much for me. I have been wrong before though.

I already have a quarq, this one is for my time trial bike. I'm hoping that my S975 quarq doesn't get jealous of the pretty new red one. :D

I don't want to be rude, so here's how it looks at the moment. The Recon gold-anodized cassette, 3T rotundo bar, Elite sior cages arrives tomorrow and I'll be 75% done with the build. The saddle and 5mm tall headset bearing cover should arrive by Wednesday. The brake shoes are just about rubbing on the fork so a I'll need to make a trip to the hardware store for a couple of washers to push the caliper forward.

Oh, and a new saddle for the Noah Pro. A Romin 143 which feels so much better than the previous Selle Italia SLR Team I was riding on. I almost bought a black Romin 143 for the Merak but I'm gonna try out the monolink setup and see how it feels.

Not a purchase but I won a sweepstakes, Head to Toe giveaway from Louis Garneau. Have to say that I'm pretty psyched.

Jaymadd 07-28-12 05:27 PM

Agreed ColinL, nothing beats free stuff. I'm anxious to try the carbon pro shoes and the shorts since this will be my first time using bibs.

Well :thumb:

After the delivery of my Frejus, I notice that the hand breaks had been changed replaced, and although they are vintage as well, I decided to go for the 1968 Vintage Universal Breaks Set, same set I had on my first Frejus. They ran me some bucks, but they are NIB, so my Frejus will be that much better looking, not to mention safer at stops...Happy Riding...
