Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

- Giro Ionos helmet
- Speedplay Light Action pedals
- Nashbar sunglasses
- Specialized road shoes

At first the shoes felt great. Then at around mile 30, they put my feet to sleep, specifically the area around the ball of my feet. I wonder if they're too small

Bought a Knog Frog flashing LED light for the front of my bike over the weekend. For the last couple of weeks, it's been getting fairly dark by the time I get home from my weeknight after work ride, and I want to stay visible.

Are they BG shoes and does the insole have a bump just behind the ball of your foot? I had the same problem and made a Y-cut underneath to soften the bump. They fell great after that. I think you can also get BG insoles with different shapes.

Just received a pair of Michelin Lithions in the mail a few minutes ago. I've never tried them, but the price was right at PBK. I normally ride Rubino Pros, but they were $7 more per tire, so I decided to give the Lithions a try...wonder if I'll notice a difference.

a pair of Tineli bibs that were half price when I went to a LBS. I've been tempted to try bibs for a while now and half price was to good to pass up.

I had actually only gone to the LBS for some brake cable crimp ends.
