were on clearance for $29 and available in my size!! woot! if they give me the ability to ride to work an extra 5-6 days they pay for themselves in gas and tolls paid, each commute I'm able to make saves about 1 gallon of gas and $3.70 each day in tolls

got to use them the other day, wish I had bought some a year or so ago, very nice for the money, kept legs toasty and felt really nice. next up: bibs and an edge 500 when cash is available.

I have an edge 500 literally just laying around that I've not been actively trying to sell but is available. PM me if you're interested in it.

Muffin: Garmins are a fantastic training tool. The data you can collect can be endlessly useful in the future as more data is gathered over time.

Just ordered 2013 Sram Red Compact Crankset (50/34) 172.5
http://cdn.sram.com/cdn/farfuture/es...?itok=6aMsBq4p
And the Front Derailleur to go with it.
http://cdn.sram.com/cdn/farfuture/Hn...?itok=kC74uLXr

This will be an upgrade from the Sram Rival crank/fd that are on the bike currently. Will complete the Sram Red groupset purchase in pieces. These were the first 2 and in my eyes, the most important.

I hope you got it on sale or used. With the new 510, you should have found good deals on the 500.

Waiting for a walz cap to arrive from the U.S. Hope they're good.

Yeah, i really like my Force crank, I am interested to see how well the chain catcher + YAW works out. I actually don't have that problem often at all, but I'm sure it's nice just in case.

No, that pic was taken within the first 1/4 mile I rode. The saddle has since come down a notch in the front and feels much better. I used the seatpost and saddle off my first road bike and couldnt figure out why it was so tilted on the Surly. After taking measurements from my old bike and the Pacer, the pacer's fork is much taller to allow for bigger tires. This raised the headtube the same distance changing the geometry completely.
