I can't believe they still have the chief doper on the wrapper.
Regardless, they still taste good. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=320226 |

- Giro Air Attack shield helmet.
I went out for an early morning ride, first time using the new helmet. Let me begin by saying it really does look like a huge salad bowl over my head. I was contemplating whether or not to take it off and put the Atmos back on but the mrs. said it didn't look that bad. Liar, lol. The temp was around 78-80F when I started out and the humidity was typical for NYC. I always use a sweatstopper skull cap and wasn't sure if the AA helmet would do enough in venting; so far, its proven me wrong. Once i got moving, I forgot I even had the salad bowl on my head and didn't feel like I was burning up. Tomorrow, is our routine 65-80+ mile ride so I'll see how good this AA helmet is after a couple hours in this heatwave we're having. Btw, even our doorman who has never said anything negative about my cycling apparel commented on the AA. To no surprise, his exact words were: "it looks like a large bowl, almost like a large salad bowl." :notamused: |
It does look like a salad bowl.. can't deny that fact

It's been raining out so much lately...Some fenders for my Marinoni, some new yellow Zegho's, some emergency sealant for the tubs and I thought I would try out one of these Halo things as I sweat buckets when the sun comes out... I also ordered some ENVE 3.4 clinchers that should be here next week.

Koolstop Brake pad (salmon) inserts.
Then, Koolstop Brake Pads with holder, because I didn't do my research...and I think I stripped a screw trying to remove my Tektro pads. |

Nice grab!

Bought one of these:
http://www.shimano.com/publish/conte...bm.512.384.gif to put on this: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-S...4/IMG_2634.jpg because the first RD (XT shadow) I'd bought won't work with the jtek shiftmate I have on order to mate up the Campagnolo Veloce with the Shimano 10sp in the back. Ready to have this new gravel rig on the road... err... gravel. |
