No kids, disposable income.

I crashed my bike and cracked the seat stay...that means a new bike is right around the corner too. I'm keeping the economy alive!

I just bought it today.

If you want to get techincal, I bought the bike, loaded it in my car, then realized I needed more chain lube, so technically a bottle of chain lube is my most recent purchase, but posting a picture of that wouldn't be as much fun. (1st road bike, so this forum will be seeing more of me)

What king of chain lube did you get???

just kidding, very nice bike!!!!

Just to clarify, I was joking around with ya. Didn't want you to think I was trying to be some jerk. :thumb:

When does the bike come?

Haha, no offense taken whatsoever. I hear it from all my friends and coworkers too..."you spent how much on your bike?" It blows their mind when I tell them my bike was relatively cheap compared to others.

Not sure on the bike yet, waiting to hear more at the moment. Since the bike isn't even 6 months old, we're trying to see if anything is covered under warranty or if they'll work out a deal on a new bike. Which, to be honest, will probably be the only way I stick with that brand. I'm also hoping Di2 is in my future. If I'm going to upgrade, might as well go all the way.

T9 chain lube and some Scratch Lab samples.

Most people think that spending more than $200 on a bike is ludicrous... but most people are used to BB store bikes.

This is what happens when I go away for the summer and the purchases accumulate at the office!

Notice the friendly message in yellow from my office manager who decided to have a little fun with the boxes (that's my office door behind the stack of boxes).

IMO, best bang for the buck from Campy's EPS lineup. I believe Campagnolo will be releasing their 30mm spindled cranksets, along with the new slimmer, internal battery sometime next month.

what the crap why would you have stuff shipped to your office where you can't play with it all summer??

If the shop works with me, I might not have as many choices...if they don't, I most likely will go with campy if I piece a bike together. The cinelli frame I wanted sold out, so I started looking at the De Rosa Merak as well based on how much I like your bike.

we do plenty of mountain biking out west during the summer. This is in my office in FL, so its mostly road bike gear and shop tools I picked up in some online summer sales that I could not pass up.

Got some new shoes, the Shimanos just weren't for me. Went to LBS to get the Comp shoes, ended up with these that were the same price on discount (2012 model). Went for a quick spin, and what a difference a pair of shoes can make...

Ordered this yesterday. First shipment to the states is on its way, dealer said that I should have it by the end of August.

I'm certain some will love those colors, for me it's a no. Great frame though.

Normally a black and white guy myself, but it seemed ugly enough to try.

awfulwaffle 08-09-13 08:47 AM

Bought a bunch of tubes after I managed to hit a chunk of the road that was missing while biking home in the dark with a dying light. I'd never blown both tubes at the same time before :bang:
