Went for a Retul fit today. Saddle raised an inch and moved forward about the same amount. I also sprung for custom footbeds to address some arch issues Did you know there are actually 3 arches in your foot? Two of mine are collapsed. Who knew, I thought there was only the big one in the middle - that one is fine. Will try a short 20-30 mile test ride tomorrow.

You're gonna burn up in this...I got the Classic Softshell Jacket and also the Winter Jersey. The jacket only comes out if it is raining hard or I'm brave enough to go out below maybe 15 degrees. The winter jersey with long sleeve merino base layer keeps me warm below freezing. YMMV but just saying...

BUT, the pro team is different. The entire back of this jacket is a thick mesh material that you can see through. It is supposed to shield wind where its needed but breath everywhere else.

Sounds calculated....to drain your pocketbook (JK)...

I hear ya, hope that works out, give us a report later this year!

Can't give you a specific site since a lot of places sell them at totally different prices. The cheapest being 34. I bought it at the LBS in my hometown, and even though I paid 54 bucks for it, it doesnt matter I HAD TO HAVE IT RIGHT THERE :) There are a bunch. Look for Formaggio Cycling or World Jerseys. These are the other two they had in the store.

Good gouge. I haven't bought anything to crazy for the winter, still rocking some older PI stuff that still works great, but getting old.

Garmin 810 and new GSC-10 sensor. The 800 started acting screwy, but it was probably just the sensor gone bad. Anyhow...two years on the 800 and I can still sell it for something...

...not to shill, but biketiresdirect had the best price....

Here's hoping your 810 isn't just as screwy!

Actually, with the most recent firmware update, things seem to be much better...I updated about 200 miles ago and have only lost my phone connection once so far.

There are some tricks to using it though, for example, if you load your route before you leave and the end point is the same as the start point, it'll constantly tell you to turn around and head to end point the entire ride. I get around this by starting/loading the route after I start my ride. I'm not sure if this was ever fixed or not, I just work around it now.

gc3 09-05-13 10:15 PM

Say it ain't so! I'll let you know if I encounter that problem.

SpeshulEd 09-05-13 10:27 PM

Feel free to shout if you have any questions or come across anything odd. I've had mine for a few months now and have encountered a handful of issues, but the firmware updates have been plentiful and it seems to get better with each one.

It would have to be Tuc's medicated pads....summer riding has not been kind.

I suppose my "most recent" purchase is a coach. So there.

ill.clyde 09-06-13 10:11 AM

My former LBS is getting out of the "Specialized" business and only selling Trek going forward. So they're blowing out all the Spesh merch.

I got a pair of Comp MTB shoes, a pair of gloves and a Bar Phat grip tape kit, each 40% off.

Nice. I remeber when my LBS stopped selling Cervelo's, they were practically giving them away. If I had money at the time I would've bought one with no hesitation. Maybe even two.

My preferred LBS did the same. I have a Spesh helmet from when I first bought my MTB back in 2006, but now they're only Trek/Bonty stuff.
