Just ordered a quarq riken 10r compact in 172.5 crank arm length!!! All this in hopes that working the trainer in winter months ends up being partially fun because now i can do the sufferfest videos with much more accuracy :)... Im butt hurt though. Freaking expensive.

I totally need some shoes like that! Mine are Bontrager SPD's and are more like regular road shoes but with raised plastic "tread" on the bottom. Still annoying to walk around in.

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted shoes that I can walk reasonably comfortably in. Got this pair for $90 at REI. I tried a couple of Pearl Izumi pairs too, but they were both too narrow for me.

Just installed a Bontrager Race XXX Lite seatpost and cages on the Madone. Superfluous, yep. But, got em for decent prices on eBay...so why not.

Probably knockoffs. They go for $30 shipped. Very light for the price though. Mine was 170 grams.

Ahh, didn't you already have a cannondale? I'm trying to remember the first pic you posted in HrN and everyone gave you flack at first because it was slightly blurry and had some green on it or something. I can't quite remember...I remember liking that bike too.

Also, do you do the Underground Crit at all on Tuesday nights? Every now and then I see some Bicycle Haus guys riding, but they're just a blur in the A group and I'm usually just a spectator shooting the **** by that point.

None of it came from Hong Kong (at least to me)....bout the price I paid. Knocked off? Still light, we'll see how it rides Sunday.

That was my bmc which died an untimely death. As for the Tuesday night ride i won't go near it, crashes are far too common and some of the best racers I know have been taken out there. My usual routine is Tuesday and Thursday Gainey so I'm up at 0345 for those, Saturday bos or west valley and the rest of the days are my solo rides.

My most recent addition is a GoPro Hero 3. For those that don't frequent the Electronics forum, let me just briefly ask if any others here use one and found it interferes with your Garmin? Mine does. I've put them as far apart as possible on the handlebar and the GPS still causes the Garmin to be unable to accurately track speed and therefore distance. Mine's off by about half a mile in a hour's time. You can watch the speed and see it drop to exactly half for a second or so 3 or 4 times a minute.
