Although its winter (and has been snowing today) I found some good deals and decided to buy some clothing for cycling once it gets warmer:
Of course, I needed tights for the early spring and a wind breaker, so I got these: http://www.amazon.com/Pearl-Izumi-Se...l+izumi+tights (Yes, I know they don't have Chamois) http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=362966 And the Wind Breaker: http://www.amazon.com/Pearl-Barrier-...mi+windbreaker http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=362967 And then I got two complete kits: DNA Fuoco kit: http://www.amazon.com/DNA-Fuoco-Jers...+Italico+Fuoco http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=362968 http://www.amazon.com/DNA-Fuoco-Bib-...+Italico+Fuoco http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=362969 Cavalo Squadra 3.0 kit: http://www.amazon.com/Cavalo-Squadra...Cavalo+Squadro http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=362970 http://www.amazon.com/Cavalo-Squadra...Cavalo+Squadro http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=362971 They are all good quality and fit well. Also, if you want a good deal, all of them are, however the cavalo squadra 3.0 jersey is currently at just $25, which is insane. But overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the great deals I got. |

Been in the market for a new road bike so I decided to pick up a 2013 Madone 4.5 at a deep discount. Unfortunately I have a few months to ride it given the winter Minnesota is having but it sure looks great in my apartment until then! http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=363015

My favorite LBS just opened their newest location less than 2 miles from my house. Now I don't have to go 25 miles round trip to get some tubes!
I was one of the first 100 people in the door today when they opened at 2 PM so I got a $20 gift card. Used that and some birthday cash to grab a couple things: Ergon GP1 grips for my MTB: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...yKoeHhILyrB71w And I finally got a 90mm 7 deg. stem for the road bike to replace the 90mm 17 deg stem that's on there now. I mistakenly got a 100mm 7 deg. stem awhile back which turned out to be too long, but I plan to use it on my MTB when I get some 31.8 bars. http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/produ...lack-73676.jpg |

Hm, new SRAM Red OG 1090 cassette, new SRAM 1091 chain and a gaudy looking pearl izumi jersey (on closeout). That was last week.
TOnight, new Selle Italia SLR Flow max L something or other. I'm really looking forward to that one. |
Record EPS V2 upgrade kit, can't wait for it to arrive. Sold my old dérailleurs, shifters and a couple of laptops I didn't need and got the whole kit for $1,700 as an open box item so my net cost was $400...:)

well.........after four years of being without a car (my wife and I would share hers) I've been commuting exclusively on motorcycles. Took up cycling a few months ago, and tho my wife was a good sport about me always asking to use her car to take my bicycle to the trail, PLUS have a bike rack always on it.
I bought this...............it's a fun little car too. GOt a great deal as it was a leftover! |
