Looks like your forgot a few bits and baubs.

Those are the same tires I put on my recent build. I hope they run nicely I haven't used them before.

Waiting in the mailman for the last bit of bits. Be finished later today!

Some GP4000s's. Which can go on as soon as the bike is off the trainer and I can ride outside. So at this rate, only 3 more months. :(

I am going to have to ask you... how good are these tires really? Worth it over the Run of the mil GP4000, Pro4 etc?

I'll let you know by the end of the week; should be delivered by Tues-Wed. I've been using a set of Schwalbe Ultremos since I got the Khamsins a couple months back for fall/winter riding as I haven't ridden clinchers for almost 4 years.

Please do and thank you. I've been riding exclusively Pro4 Service Course & Endurance for the past year and I am starting to get a feel that I am missing on something here. It's like my 6th sense is kicking up here.

When I was riding clinchers, I tried Pro2s, GP4000s, Corsas and after riding on a set of Schwalbe Ultremos (I believe it was R1s, then DDs) I've stuck with Scwalbe since. Even after going tubulars for the last several years, Schwalbe were my go to tires. I find the tires to have a very supple ride, similar to the corsas but a much more durable tire that doesn't cut, tear or wear out as fast.

Yes it works quite well, at least you don't have to turn completely around to see behind, as with any rear mirror you still have to watch out for the blind spot.

Good to know, I'm not liking the helmet mirrors and cars keep getting more quiet.

I really hope you're correct. After using Vittorias I switched to the GP4Ks and I don't like the dull ride. It just feels dead.

I went with the Ultremos after finding them on sale @ PBK. My only hope is that the ride is similar to Vittorias but with a longer lifespan.

What'ya think?

Almost all of my gear is by twinsix, watch their specials in the fall, they markdown the leftover stock like crazy.

Yeah it was chainlove but didn't actually get it when went up. One day I think someone screwed up and put it up for 15% less than what they should have but I missed out on it. I contacted backcountry via chat 2 hours later and the guy price matched the glitch price.

I took it out yesterday after I put it together on a tiny trail behind my house but it wasn't enough to really test. I am taking it out this Saturday with a buddy who just got a new Marin Rift Zone 29er. I did realize though that I do not like clipless pedals one bit on this bike. Switching to Saint flats.

Just got some Minoura Action Rollers however, one of the roller drums has something rattling around inside it so I'm not too pleased. Thinking that it may be a bearing.

This purchase required several negotiations with the sales person and more importantly, my better half. These pictures were taken at the LBS after the test ride. It wasn't a particularly good day for riding outdoors, but I still had a great time.

I pick up the bike on Wednesday 3/5...sans the reflectors, cassette disk, and labels/stickers.

Charge Scoop. After my no-name saddle died and I couldn't find the same one I tried several saddles. With 50 miles on it, this one is promising.
