More silly blue bling for my bike. Only bought these because as much as I like Cinelli Cork Tape, their bar end plugs fall out constantly.

Why spend that much on a road bike just have the handlebars above the saddle? Flip it and slam it.

what stand is that? it looks like it folds up pretty small!

It is the Spin Doctor Pro G3 repair stand from Performance. It really feels solid. I can close the legs down and the top part can fold down as well so it takes about 6" square in my bike shed/ shop. :)

What's the problem? My previous Pinarello got destroyed in an accident and since then a higher bar helps me in the longer rides. I ride just as hard and I enjoy a good Pina just as much as when I could ride with a level stem. If I catch more wind it doesn't matter, I don't race.

Why so defensive? You just dropped a ridiculously large chunk of cash on an aero bike + aero wheels, and then say you don't care about wind because you don't race? Reminds me of when I was in grammar school and they were teaching us about oxymorons. I just think if someone is going to ride an expensive aero bike with deep section carbon wheels, might as well ride it in an aerodynamic position no? Otherwise all that wind cheating technology is going to waste.

Not so; it helps, noticeably, in whatever position I ride in. I can no longer ride in a low position thanks to a hit and run drunk driver. The angled stem is a necessity.

Just picked up one of these a few days ago...pretty sweet. Syncs to either my phone via Bluetooth, or to the HR/speed/cadence sensors alone (also via Bluetooth). Nice, small, light... A simple push and everything is uploaded straight to Strava (or Training Peaks and Cateye Atlas) before I even get in the house.

Well....here's a horrible picture.... :D

I see. I'm sorry to hear about your accident. Must have been a nice insurance settlement.

Thank you kindly. I was both lucky and unlucky. I was hit while riding on a bike path where cars are not allowed -- she was that drunk -- but the helmet took the brunt of the fall, and while I had serious injuries, none were life threatening. I am back, except for less flexibility. The defendant was a stay at home mum renting her apartment with minimal insurance coverage, so my losses well surpassed what her insurance paid. My Pina Prince looked like it'd spend a night with Jack the Ripper. I hope the new Pina brings better luck. And it rides better than the Prince, which I thought was not possible. The handling on descends is exilarating. I recommend it.

I just realized I actually have the smaller one in the second link. He hangs out on my desk at work. He sure does crack me up.

Not all drunk drivers have good insurance, in fact most of the time they don't have insurance at all! My accident with a drunk driver that gave me titanium rods and fusion in my last vertebrae had no insurance and was worth very little, probably all the cases of beer in his car was his life's savings and those blew up. So what financial award did I get? nothing. The only satisfaction I got out of it was for a change the drunk driver died instead of the sober driver.

I am starting to match helmet to shoes in full fashion faux pas mode. Here's the new Octal to match the Sidi Air Wires. Anyone know of a helmet I can get to complement the Gire Empire ACC Ltd Edition sepia shoes?
