They are amazing. You will never ever get a chain as clean by just a rag and hand, it matter how many types of cleaners you use. |
Just brought home my first road bike.

Got these photochromic glasses from Nashbar. I have a pair of regular sunglasses and a pair with non-tinted lenses but I got tired of having to pick which ones to wear and then hoping that the weather wouldn't change. So far, I like these new ones. |

Old Ti. Craigslist find. Dean frame with CK 1 in headset, wound up fork, Lynsky Ti post, and 3T stem with shim.
I hope you got a great deal. Wound-up forks are cool. |

I still have the Bianchi, but I'll use my current road frame for the build.

Picked up my new 2015 Scott Addict SL frameset. 710g on the frame, 280g on the fork. After I busted my 2009 CR1 integrated hanger, I didn't really need "this much bike" but got an awesome deal through my LBS. Dropped it off at the LBS today for headset and BB installation.

For $400, that's a good deal. Compact crank, decent gear range, even the saddle looks moderately workable. You may want to consider getting better brake pads, sometimes the stock Tektro's suck.

Thanks for this, I just bought the Cadence X Central kit also since it's 40% off. Just curious if you had their jersey before, and how do you like it? I know they made by CAPO, but I'm more of a Castelli (Race Fit) guy
overall, the kit feels like its better quality than the flow kit and the zipper is like industrial grade because they are super heavy duty. all in all, cadence makes some really high quality stuff for reasonable prices. pair with that all the promotional sales they have and their kits end up being a super good deal. overall i prefer cadence over other top tier, boutique kit producers. btw, the jersey's run a little large. i usually wear a large in castelli, pearl izumi, champion systems, etc but the large for cadence feels a little baggy. the bibs fit true to size |
