If you send the light back you can get a Cygolite for just $5 more that puts out 250 more lumens plus it has flashing mode; see: http://www.amazon.com/Cygolite-Metro...words=cygolite
I'm looking more for lights that I can "be seen" in the shadows rather than in sun. My ride today had miles of ride that were in the shadows. Even in the middle of the day, the sun is not very high in the sky and there are plenty of long stretches of shadows. |
Tacx blue motin pro, suunto ant+ stick and garmin speed sensor. You know what are these for. :p

Picked up and Urban800 bike light. Rode home in the dark with my brother-in law on Wednesday who laughed and said my light was like having a high beam from a car on my handle bar.http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=487854

Awesome, I mainly bought it to use xwift as I was dying of boredom on my old trainer.

The front light must be defective; it doesn't flash. The rear light seems OK. Not super bright, but for $24, the price was right. I think I am going to return the front light; I don't think it's bright enough. But the mount on the Axiom is a "rubber band" style mount which makes it easy to move between bikes. I don't like the mount on the Cygolite Metro. It's going to squish the cables under the bar wrap.

Super-duper bright, but still very long on battery life in that mode. |

Scorpius SRS MTB Shoes that I use for my road bike. Really like this because of the looks and it's designed exactly like the road version only you can walk on it.
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=487931 Also got a pair of Continental Grand Prix Sport Race Tires in 28mm. They are my first set up Continental tires so I'm thinking it's gonna be a big upgrade from my beefy 440 gram each Specialized Espoir Sport Tires. |
I ordered a couple bibs and a jersey from PB. I won't return them after using them for a season though...
|
Giro Hex MTB helmet, which is probably gonna be to big for me. Didn't realize until after I ordered it that Giro's sizes run bigger then the other brand helmet I use.

New headlight. Old one on top for comparison. It's a little heavier and bulkier than I'd like for my road bike, but with such short days I needed the extended battery life it has over my old Axiom Lazer 200. 50 mile round trip to my gym, and I get out of work when it's dark, so yeah. Gonna be useful. |

mmmmm I spy a lowered Audi. :D Oh yeah nice bike frame. But then you set it right down on that rough ground! :(
Yup that is my Audi and the frame was dry so its not like it would do anything. Here is a picture of both the car and the frame that is all done except for clear coat: http://i1107.photobucket.com/albums/...pst3es9xwv.jpg and the frame: http://i1107.photobucket.com/albums/...psxeaxiggd.jpg |
This month 3 tubes, 2 patch kits, 2 CO2 cartridages. :(

Well, I paid for one of these today: Cyclocross : 2016 Giant ToughRoad SLR 1
as the '09 Boulder has been officially declared "retired" after ~20000km. Looking forward to it. |
