Bought me a tail light / headlight combo pack at the LBS. I notice none of the "pros" have these, but oh well. I will use these on the foggy days (and I know they're fast approaching). Things are stupid bright (which I guess is the purpose). I was going to get the Nite Ryder ones, but these were really cheap at my LBS, so I figured eh... the Nite Ryder's advantages is that the tail light has 5 LEDs (one on each side) vs just the 3 in the front face like the one I got does. Oh well.

Put in my order for 2 team kits for 2010.

FreddyV 12-24-09 02:00 PM

I ordered these. Delivery time is 4 to 5 weeks. Can't wait for these to be here...

Will post pictures in the gallery as soon as they arrive and I swapped the wheels on my bike.

...it's dimpled like a golfball for extra aerodynamism.

Picked up a set of kevlar-belted tires yesterday . . . should hopefully cut down the number of flats. I also picked up some Slime Skabs in case they don't.

I picked up a pair of dura-ace shifters today.

Braden1550 12-26-09 06:04 AM

New shop kit (shop I work at), Specialized Propero helmet (the mtb one with visor removed was daggy, and I noticed a big crack), gloves for crit racing, and a 6 dvd 2009 TDF dvd set.
For what I spent, I could have made my bike almost 1kg lighter. But I needed this stuff. Lol.

...my first new bicycle in 25 years (I have been riding the same Pinarello Record, with various drivetrain, wheelset and other upgrades since 1984!). My only problem is that I am not worthy of this bike, so I had better start training more right away!

Very nice! I have the Propero, didn't really have the funds for the S-Works one. The Black/White/Blue does look VERY pretty though...

One Shimano CS-7800 spacer.

Small, boring, absolutely necessary.

zipp 808's Ebay 850 shipped
Cannondale System Six frame w/ crank Ebay 585 shipped

Tsuru 12-30-09 06:43 PM

Pair of Mavic Cruize shoes

http://www.selectit.jp/item_wear/epw.../cruize_01.jpg

I had a :roll (bike shop) gift card, picked up some non-roadie cycling shoes for trail/snow/super-cold-commute/etc cycling. They were closing them out for $40. Perfect. Deal is online too. US sizing was accurate. A US 12 fit like a US 12.

:)
