I have the same saddle. You'd be surprised how uncomfortable it is to be on the hood and how comfortable it is on the drops.

I kinda think I shouldve gone for the 130mm. I'm a 143mm in ALL Specialized saddles but I think the Power is just a tad wider that everything (perhaps it's because of the position you're in?)

I'm still partial if I want to keep it or not. I have the Ti version and it's porkier than what it replaced (Toupe @ 180g)

Have been using S-Works Power on my CAAD12. I really liked it so I decided to replace my Selle SMP on my Synapse with this one. I don't think it comes narrower than 143 though. Works for me.

That's regular price at Jenson USA - Online mountain & road bike parts, clothing and accessories shop | Jenson USA .

I love adding tubes to orders, to get free next day shipping on orders over $50.

Got these at an LBS near me, usually $5 each so I go online for this kind of deal.

The good sale price finally came around again, coincident with a spending mood.

I've always wanted these, good sale? where at man?

Biketiresdirect.com

The sale price went away, but it's worth getting on their email list.

Quite some stuff since the last time I posted. Working my way backwards form last night:

- Two pairs of short and long brake cables.
- Another Feida bike, this time in yellow. There's a third one that I'm eying for spare parts if the toy shop I bought the first two from gives me a tempting enough discount.
- A few axle and cone lock nuts; forgot to pick up some washers while I was at it, though. Probably will pick some up tonight from any nearby shop.
- A pair of cheap headlights.

From Amazon:

- A pair of 37-451/20x1-3/8 Primo Comet tires; might get another pair for the second Feida.
- Four Avenir tubes to match the above, with Schraders. I cannot tell you just how much I friggin hate Woods valves! :bang:
- Topeak Handlebar Water Bottle Cage Mount. I'm going to try this out before I decide to order more of it.
- Delta Holdits Grande Beverage Holder for my wife to use on her trike.

Speedplay pedals. Why didn't I convert sooner. LOVE THEM!

RJC1811 11-04-16 09:05 PM

Volt 800 headlight. I feel much safer as it gets dusk earlier.

American Euchre 11-04-16 09:20 PM

CygoLite Hot Shot Pro 150 Lumens. $40, REI.

It's not as bright as the sun, and I only bought it so my wife won't use my amazon gift card to buy some pantyhose, and I'm putting it in storage for the next 9 months, and I spent 6 years researching bike tail lights, so.........

......what was I talking about?

Some people love them and some hate them, I'm in the love boat. I've had mine now for 3 seasons and all is well with them. The reason I selected them initially was lack of mechanical things like springs etc on the pedal that could break, and the shoe cleat is very minimal too which means with the right shoes I can walk with them. I opted for the Frogs even though they're on a road bike because I wanted the option to be able to walk if needed.

An Indonesian-made saddle to replace the stock Chinese one on my second Feida, and a longer seatpost - same as the first Feida.

Got me a new crash hat. I was a little skeptical of the Scattante at first, and it's certainly no marvel of craftsmanship, but it fits my head better than any helmet I've ever worn. And the price was right. Grabbed a couple Rubino Pros while I was at the store as well because they were marked way down.

Sunday, ordered Giant TCR Advanced 2, might pick up longer stem when I pick it up.

Today, from England, I ordered Shimano 105 carbon pedals, White Lighting Grease, a cateye tail light, Kask Rapido helmet, and cheap Ribble sunglasses.

The wife doesn't need to know about the pedals...

I am going old school on my clothing (as much wool as possible) to go along with my new but old school steel road bike (the bike is a winter project).
Hopefully putting lycra & clingy tight clothing behind, except for maybe the hottest months.

Here are my beautiful shoes I just received.

almost new Kurt Kinetic Road Machine off Craigslist at a really good deal. With the front wheel ring which i think is one of the more stable ones. Will still use my rollers but this will be easier for Zwifting.

ARPRINCE 11-11-16 08:25 AM

I recently got a TUNE DC14 skewers. So pumped when I got them but it didn't last. :( I realized that there was something wrong on color hue of the skewers. The Quick Release handle compared to the nut's color did not match. For a somewhat expensive item, really disappointed on the quality control of the manufacturer (tune.de). I'm sending it back.

My commuter bike had a rack eyelet crack off and this has caused just enough sway that there is rubbing of the brakes/wheel. As a daily rider and someone with OCD, I can't handle this.

Picked up a new AL frameset for peanuts, just to have, as I told my better half. Welp, that lasted all of 2 weeks. I now have all the parts to build it up as a super rad commuter, fenders, rack, 1x10 drivetrain with riser bars and thumb shifter. Very excited, as my other commuter is drop bars and a 2x10. I love variety in the steed shed!
