Thanks for the detailed feedback

I guess I'll be getting those once I score a new aero handlebar.

I got the S-Board a few months ago and I love it. If it wasn't for the fact that my disc brake cable mount on my fork gets in the way at times I'd have no complaints.

It's certainly better than nothing! I actually run the band between the brake hose and the fork and it's seemed quite solid for this week's commutes, no bouncing around or movement of the bracket

Picked this up from REI on sale, almost a perfect match to the All-City bibs. Their matching jersey in my size is/has been out of stock for a hot minute now. Can't wait anymore.

And the socks as well.

It's great. My brake cable mount on the left side of the fork is unfortunately in the way so it sits uneven. Hopefully the new fork that I'm getting will have that in a better position.

question for those who wear specialized socks - im a shoe size 9, not a wide foot, and the S/M sock are listed for people who are shoe size 6-10, but damn these are snug. they seem to come up as high as they should and the heel seems to be about where it should be on my foot, but with how tight they are i cant imagine that the L/XL size would be a bad fit, maybe even a better fit. on a white pair, i can basically see through them a bit when on and pulled up. are specialized's socks just that tight?

I have some of the older socks, and they are almost uncomfortably tight. I don't wear them much anymore just because of that.

Picked up an Edge 820 toward the beginning of the year. I've been very happy with it so far. The battery life has been solid, the touchscreen has been responsive, and routing has been great as well. Following premade routes is a breeze and recalculating was quick and effective when I made some wrong turns on purpose to test it.

I'm finally able to transfer routes via bluetooth from my phone which hadn't been working on my 520, and I'm also happy to have detailed maps for the entire country on the unit from the start - much more convenient than fumbling with multiple OSM files if I'm outside of my home state.

Let us know how that bike mount works out. I have the same case and the arm band for running (gift from wife) and have been considering the bike mount myself. The phone case is super nice. My only gripe is that the backside has openings through the case and dirt/lint will build up inside the case over time. Unless, that is, you get smart like I eventually did and put a piece of packaging tape over the openings.

thenewjs 01-23-17 05:19 PM

I got the mount during the Black Friday sale. I love it.
