It is in great condition! It was owned by a bike mechanic who replaced the bartape, cables, tires and tubes about a month ago. The frame does have some minor scratches, which i'll paint over with some touch up, but thats about it! I was super stoked when I picked it up. Now I have the upgrade bug, but a girlfriend who has not quite fully understood the madness

Technically, I made the purchase, but my parents (who aren't cyclists) gave me the money for it for Christmas.

That's a great looking bike, very unique shade of blue.

Finally the new wheels are in!

Mavic CXP22 with Tiagra 9 speed cassette. Weight of the front wheel is 930 grams, weight of the rear wheel including cassette is 1480 grams. I know it's not the lightest of wheels I could have gotten, but I needed a solid and stiff pair of wheels for the daily commute.

Next up I will be buying a set of cassette tools, as the cassette and wheel were packed separate (didn't see that one coming...). Need some rim tape as well.

Used Scattante CFR frame, fork and headset:

I'm excited to be making the move to carbon! :D The bathroom scale tells me it weighs in at 3.7 lbs (I'll be checking on our postage scale later).

Next is to build it up, hopefully before Levi's Gran Fondo this fall . . .

Just received my PowerTap hub and front DT Swiss 240 hub laced to new 50 mm Gigantex carbon tubular rims from Psimet.

Will post how they ride later. Have to put tires in them.
