a friend of mine used these lights, and they are insignificant for cars, an idea is cool, but in practice it's not much of a difference.

Well, that was a pretty decent deal then, wunnit?

Esthetic 01-13-18 12:15 PM

Yes, it was. Didn't think i would win that bid, that low.
It was listed as 'excellent condition' as if used, and the frame and fork came new with the original wrappings....

AND even a box including:
Pf30 Bottom bracket
Additional RD hanger
FSA headset hardware and carbon spacers
Concept seatpost and stem

Nothing fancy for finishing kit but plenty to help get the build up and riding.

A frameset. Nice price on a NOS Helium SL, but nothing like the deal @Esthetic got.
Before that, a floor pump. Although I like the one I've had with the screw type connection, I wanted one with the lever, since in the past, and again recently, I've had some valve stems that kept coming apart when I unscrewed the pump. Trouble with the new pump is that the lever will smack a thumb or finger really hard if I'm not careful disconnecting it.

Fizik Aliante VS Manganese Saddle My Selle Italia was giving me a sore but, thought I'd try something with more padding.

Needed a pair of proper winter cycling gloves so got these Castelli Estremo ones:

They take the edge off the windchill when cycling at night during the British winter. Windproof, but not waterproof, but shower-proof. My hands feel nice and cosy and warm in these.

I bought saddle bags. This allows me more gear when winter riding. The one I got are a tad small for touring. But perfect for commuting... or pleasure riding.

Love the Assos shorts!

Scott Road Pro shoes and Look delta cleats. My first shot at clipless. Wore toe clips and Dettos years ago but decided to join the 20th century now that it's the 21st century.

Fleece lined leather slippers too. In case the coffee shop or pub has a dress code.

Oh, yeah, got my Fredly black compression socks and I ain't afraid to use 'em.
