Not including the new Giant Defy that I picked up yesterday, last weekend I bought a pair of Shimano RP-9 Carbon cycling shoes, weekend before that I picked up a Poc Octal X Spin helmet.

Sella Anaomica X2. Its, heavy but at 56.... comfort is what matters.

The Rapha Classic II has become one of my favorite jerseys, although I prefer the all black because I am not a fan of the arm band. As a 190ish rider I often have issues finding a jersey that fits in the chest while not being so long I have to tuck it under. This one fits me just right and I usually take the opportunity to buy them when on sale.

Deda Zero100 stem, 80mm 82 degrees. My previous stem was 90mm, -6 degrees but my bike fitter recommended a shorter one (up to 70mm even) for riding audax distances. I visited my FLBS, found only 60mm and 80mm stems, decided to go with 80mm instead.

iPhone 7 quadlock...ordered (2) one for wife’s bike, one for my bike.

DHB (Wiggle house brand) jersey/jacket & tights, size medium.

After seeing favorable reviews here. Went by size chart- too small.

I can get them on, but the cut off circulation would negate any thermal properties.

Now for the exchange process.

I have one of those. My only complaint is that I should have gotten it much sooner. Oh, I have another complaint: I can't afford one for each bike, so I either move it from bike to bike or occasionally don't mount my phone to my bars. But overall, I'm happy with the system. It's the best I've tried, and I've tried many.

Glad to hear this feedback, thank you!

a chain keeper by k-edge to replace (albeit too late... hindsight is crystal clear) the POS chain whatever that trek provides on their very expensive carbon frames, emonda, domane, madone. Which, by the way, with constant chain drops, ruined my frame (2 locations by the bottom bracket, because of many many chain drops lodging between the little ring and the BB), making it unridable. Have not ridden since last Friday (8 days ago), though, I got a tandem ride in (two strong riders = PR's on a heavier bike... my legs wanted to spin crazy!), and a component set of 6800 ultegras for the new build (not a trek) that I bought yesterday.

I'm looking to get back to riding on a rental sometime early this week and do hill repeats up the road. I'm going to work my legs crazy, after a long warmup.....

Got a new Lid today. collaboration by "Sweet protection" and Pas Normal Studios Falconer aero helmet. Pretty comfortable from first impressions! The aero inserts are pretty slick and are easy to use as they are held in place with magnets. Very excited to get out and give it a real test!

100 percent glasses and sweet protection helmets are the reasons why cycling "fashion" is a freakshow. The folks wearing this stuff spend more time instagramming and hashtagging than actually riding a bike.

You got me!

The 100% glasses are very nice, but was something that definitely had to grow on me. I wasnt a fan of them for a long time. I also hated how jawbreakers looked when they first came out, but those have taken storm across pelatons and posers across the globe.

Just wish Peter Sagan would get off his damn phone, smashing likes on IG and just ride like he is supposed to do. That guy and his shades man. What a freak :D

Cycling fashion, street fashion or runway fashion, there is no normal. What looks good to one, may not to another. Simply put.....if you don't like it, don't wear it.
