Bar tape (red), helmet for my youngest son (he is now eight), and a short sleeved Suarez "Cranky Bastard" jersey for me.

Couldn't beat the $25.00 price for the jersey from Love2Pedal.

Bought new brake and shifter cables and housings. I'm going to put new handlebar tape and will be able to access cable housing.

The Voler jersey arrived yesterday and I'll be wearing it tomorrow. I like the mesh fabric for hot weather. The $40 theblackbibs.com bibs are well worth the $40 (plus $5 shipping). Those arrived last weekend and I rode them on a 75 mile ride. Comfortable!

I'm slightly envious of the tires but much more envious of the tour. Will you be blogging it anywhere?

No. I don't blog. I will probably post a short description with a link to a photo album in the touring forum afterwards.

Going to have to ride from muscle memory as I have very few miles under my belt this year. Part of the impetus for the tour in my 35th high school reunion in Deerfield, MA. Going to spend two nights there. I am also looking forward to spending the night in a restored 1919 caboose in Chester, MA once I leave the school. Other than the stay at the school, in the caboose and in a motel in Hyde Park, NY, I will be tenting it all the way.

It is a clear coating recommended by Dugast to make cotton sidewalls water resistant. As an added bonus the sidewalls stay almost as new...

Good choice.

It’s rare for this forum to agree on anything, but your wheelset was one of those.

S Works 6.0 Shoes :) Went in looking to settle for the Torch 3.0, but these were marked down to $279 since the 7.0'swere released.

Got some great cash out of my outgoing Ultegra 6800 chainset, derailleurs, and RS685 STI levers. The balance for the upgrade was about the price of a (single) high-end carbon clincher, installed.

Let's see...

Columbia '1937' for my nephew
Delta Rocket Ray #3
1/2 payment on a Shelby tank for my 1946 Traveler (it's in Australia, these things don't grow on eucalyptus trees)
Vintage Huffy speedometer for Holly Huffy project
4x 1.5V bulbs for my lights

To make it easier, next month I get a complete pair of Schwinn fenders (built in light and cover included) and a Phantom tank. That completes the parts search for the deluxe '95 springer to be done up similar to a Phantom for my nephew's brother. Then their sister's Huffy is almost done as well.

Bikes 'R' Fun!
