I recently invested in these obscenely-priced Jagwire rotating hooks/clips that bind brake and gear cables together to stop them rubbing on the frame, and also keep them looking neater. Whilst a zip tie or c-clips could do a very similar job, these clips allow each of the two cable to rotate independently.

I got this hat a couple of months ago and lost it when it was in my back pocket. I bought another one because I like it so much. It's made of synthetic but wicks as well as wool does. I wear it when on or off the bike, knowing fully well that I'm breaking Rule #22.

The hat's nice, but since Rockbros is probably most well known for ripping off Spurcycle, I'm not a fan.

That's interesting! How hard do you need to brake for the brake light to activate? I would suppose that coasting in the flat won't trigger it.
(no helment mirror). Just came in the mail this evening. A hand-held swing and deceleration at my dining table tripped the function into a brighter mode. Ready for a road test. |

That looks like the leather case. They have a disclaimer on the description about being waterproof.

Pair of 23 Vittoria Corsa g+ tubulars to finish my build |
Now that I'm back riding once again, the Storck needed an upgrade. Got a great deal on a set of '18 Reynolds Strike SLG 62 carbon clinchers.

Poor Man's, Rapha-style "Tall Socks".
Buy the regular ankle socks at Walmart, you know, the ones that are always too short, but buy the "big and tall" ones. 6 pair, $3.98. I LOVE this country! |
I've just bought two pairs of these Nalini Red mitts that are very, very nice. They were at a great discount from CRC and are quite hard to find.
I was looking for a pair of mitts to replace my ageing Gore Bike Wear Power 2.0 mitts which are no longer available. I bought one size up for a better fit (bought XL, usually buy Large). They are supremely comfortable and the fit is anatomically correct. They have sweat strip above the thumb and pull strips on the fingers to help get them off after a ride. The picture shows one pair of the gloves with the left glove showing the back of the hand side and the right glove showing the palm side. https://i.imgur.com/Gtidbbe.jpg |
