Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Some cheap Tiagra 10-speed shifters and derailleurs, so I can convert my old Felt Z1 frame into a backup/rain/Zwift bike:

When my Garmin chest strap no longer worked, I bought one of these that works with my Garmin Edge and with Zwift for cheap. Works well especially of the price. ThinkRider

Unior USA is having a spring sale, and I have always hated using a chain whip, so:

Cassette Wrench - 1670/2BI-US – Unior USA
Shimano/SRAM Cassette Lockring Tool with Guide Pin - 1670.7/4 – Unior USA
Cassette Lockring Tool with 12mm Guide - Unior 1670.9/4 – Unior USA

And since I don't have a Y tool:

Three-Way Wrench - 1781 – Unior USA

I'd say the odds are it's knockoff stuff. May be just fine but seriously doubt it's real Shimano.

I thought it might be knockoff, too. But the store has been around since 2018, does a pretty good sales volume, and it gets high customer marks.

Fingers crossed.

Still in sticker shock from buying a pair of Conti 5000 AS TRs tubeless. This is after my relatively new (maybe 20 rides) Schwalbe Pro One suffered a catastrophic puncture. Can’t plug it.
