Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is that the Rock & Roll? I've been debating between that, and the Road Machine.

How do you like it?

this seems like an odd and expensive way to store your spare wheels.

FSA Omega Compacts! Very comfy in the drops. (I pretty much use the drops exclusively now, whereas I never used it before)

I ordered the same shoes, they came in Friday.
I wanted the 2010 in matte black.
Out of stock so I ended up with the 2011, psyched.
Until I saw the matte black had been replaced with black patent leather. It's hard to tell from the photo just how shiney these things are. I swear, with a black tux I could wear these things to a wedding.

Full 2011 105 group and a generic carbon frame off e-bay. $900.00 for both. Just received the frame and it is perfect. No defects that I can detect. LBS checked it out and they said it looks great. Going to custom paint the frame and have a one of a kind bike (for my wife).

They're so new I cant even find them on Specialized's website.
So I can speak for the whites.

The shoes themselves, despite the shine factor and the fact I only have 70 miles on them, seem awesome in every respect.
Light and stiff, and the chicks on the friday night ride really dug em.

Got a record carbon water cage to match my other one as a birthday present.(2 days ago)
Bought a pair of Hutchinson fusion 2 Ultra Kevlar tires for back up. The Fortezza's are getting kind of smooth these days but they feel nice that way.

Should be in the C&V forum, but, I'm restoring a classic Reynolds 531 bike so I just bought some very nice Rigida DP18 wheels with Dura Ace hubs
Dura Ace cranks and rear deraiileur, all period gear, but very nice.
