Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

sos I can slap a 26" on it for a smoother, faster ride
My trike arrived last friday, now I have entered the world of clipless riding and started building my arsenal of cycle specific tools. Sadly, the rack I bought won't fit on the trike.

Nice. Bought a Villager for my wife this weekend. https://www.catrike.com/#!villager/cmei

I will have to test ride it, of course. You know, to make sure it's safe.

Watch the sharp corners at speed. I managed to put mine on 2 wheels the other day. The villager is a little higher and will be a little more likely to do it. Gotta lean into your turns if you don't want anything to do with that excitement

Over the weekend I ordered the spokes and Pacenti SL-23 rims for my first wheelbuilding project. I've already got the washers, rim tape, and front hub. I'll build the front wheel as soon as the rims and spokes arrive, and I'll order the rear hub in the next week or so.
