warm enough for around 40°. sized just right (large = large)
my only complaint has been the leg zippers which sometimes snag.
otherwise serviceable with over a year and around 800 miles or so in them.
I always wear them over a pair of bib shorts

Yeah I've been wanting bibs for a long time now, just couldn't bring myself to pay the $80-$150+ price.
I'm glad these have zippers on the legs. My thermal tights (not bibs) are VERY hard to get past the heels of my feet, both putting them on and taking them off.

Got this at REI for $270 at the Black Friday sale. I've only used it for one ride so far but I like it. I've used it for several runs and I like the pace feature. It's helped me knock about 30 sec/mile off so far on my runs.

Virb was on sale for under $100 so I couldn't resit. And I got some new k-edge mounts with the camera attachments to put them on my bikes.

Would you be so kind as to give me a center to center dimension? And can this be mounted so the Garmin is above the bars in a way that if you turned your bike upside down the Garmin would hit?

Then how would you turn your bike over to work on it?? lol. It is a circular mount, it can go in any position, right side up or up side down, but it will always be perpendicular to the bars.

I'm asking for a dimension - center of circle to center of circle
.
And will the Garmin be the first thing to hit the ground when the bike is upside down?

Don't angle your Garmin up like a super-fred and you won't have that problem with any mount.
And why is your bike upside down anyway?

I'm having (obviously) great difficulty wrapping my head around this, you want one that WILL hit the ground?

The current mount shown on the Cannondale (above) will not work on the new bike as the bars are aero and the area that is 31.8 is to narrow for a double clamp mount.
The existing bike shown below will not take the mount shown on the Cannondale above as it has two places it clamps on the bar and the bar dia near the stem is over 31.8mm.
So - looking for a strong far extended single clamp mount that puts the Garmin on-top not the same level as the
bars.

I guess because of the negative stem he wants it above the hoods, a la, parallel with the road. I don't understand the confusion though because, as far as I know, all of the mounts will be flat (i.e. the top of the mounting surface will be in the center of the circular clamp), so any mount should mount parallel with the road and if you have a negative degree stem, such as the picture, your hoods will be lower than the unit. Bar angle and hood position will determine this though. I do not know of any angled garmin mounts.

This one has the bottom of the Garmin even with the top of the bar (if the arm is parallel to the ground). It is about a bar width higher than the other with the arm not angled. This is closer to what I want - except I want it further in front.

My wife is getting nervous whenever I go in my LBS (and I have only been in the Clear Lake Bike Barn)
I grabbed a handful of CO2s, and she thought they were $20.00 apiece, she was like you already spent $1000 on the bike,
Till I reminded her it was a bit more than that.
I probably spent 3 grand on the bike, clothes, tools and stand, lights, pedals, shoes, etc.. since September.
But, I just need some long sleeve jerseys, and a rain jacket/ wind breaker.
I mentioned that I do ride it often. And it helps me to lose weight, and get healthier.
I want to check out Performance Bike, but have been too busy to make it there, and am Kinda Scared what I may see

Some well deserved new rings
I really wanted the black/red chain but it was twice as much as this
now some easier gearing.
