Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone order from ribblecycles.co.uk?

I placed an order for two Giordana Silverline bibs about two days ago. I didn't get an email order confirmation nor has my credit card been charged. But, my account in Ribble says that the status of my order is "Order Received". They have not responded to any of my emails. Is this par for the course for these guys?

PBK had much better ordering process.

Hi

I ordered from them on Tuesday, emailed them on Wednesday and got a reply Thursday along with the shipment confirmation.

Well, I guess my order is in the twilight zone somewhere. Did you send your email using their Contact Us link? Thanks.

Yeah, seem to be the norm. I ordered Monday night, didn't hear anything all day Tuesday, emailed Wed, got a response Thur, and it shipped Thur.

I have ordered in the past and I will again, but I do check elsewhere first.

Just phone them if you're not sure. I have had great customer service from Ribble every time.

I ordered tyres, pedals and bib shorts on 03/02, and got a dispatch confirmation from them yesterday ie: 3 days after ordering. Yet to receive the stuff. FWIW I ordered to a local UK address and it should take 3 days.

When I lived in the UK I used them on a regular basis and never had a problem. Most other cyclists I knew used them and never had a problem. Not sure about their international service
