Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It has been scientifically proven that red bikes are faster than all other color of bikes.

I will stick with Matte Black...unless it is a burnt orange Madone I saw a couple of weeks ago.

And tmass...I have a friend that rides a motorcycle that is Catch me, F' me red. The color refers to both women and the police.

Granted, this is a flatbar roadie, and not a high end rig like one would normally see on here. However, I think my restoration and new paint job on this old steel hunk-o-junk turned out pretty good. Classy, would be a better way to put it.

My red wheels on a celeste bike are ugly as hell, but pretty light, so I like them.

My favorite color is that one where your mind melts into a pile of pus which keeps you from making more threads like this.

Single color, single material. Chrome/polish is allowed with any color. Red is nice, black means business.

How about.... Red frame, red wheels (well... spokes and nipples), tyres, bar tape, and of course SRAM RED

Not exactly my cup of tea, but whatever makes people happy makes me happy.
