Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Worth It, Discounted Bike

I have a chance to buy this bike from my local LBS. I'm not to up on carbon technology but realize this is not cutting edge. It would come with 7800DA Mavic SL. I can get it for $3000Cdn. Bikes are designed in Quebec built made in Taiwan. It's the Stacatto model.

As a musician, I have always wanted to try one of those bikes.

Ditto. I just don't think I could afford a Vivace, and I'd feel too slow riding an Andante. I could get by with Allegro, but if you ain't going Vivace, you're not going fast enough.

Agreed. Andante should be the name of a beach cruiser or commuter bike, not a 19 lb road bike with 105.
