Sidi soles - full carbon versus partial

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sidi soles - full carbon versus partial

Is a full carbon sole worth $70 over their High Tech Carbon sole of 2006/2007? My feet say no considering I am happy with my pre-carbon Sidis, but what do the rest of you think?

IMHO SIDI are not worth the money....$70 extra for $1.00 worth of shiny plastic...wtf?

Check out Exustars. You'll have allot more money left over for beer...or more bike bling

The difference is fairly small, I use the Millennium 2, Millennium 3, 2 - piece carbon, and carbon composite, and really don't think there is much difference. I am glad to see the scuff pads on the new soles.

I would say no; very few people flex modern high end shoes regardless of material.

Yeah, those 5's are gone in a 43. Backcountry.com has them for $194. I think Im going to pick up a pair, along with a Fizik Arione Tri 2 carbon for $134.00.
