Check around and read reviews, including at Roadbikereview. I think the stuff's pretty proven, and every manufacturer will have problems, at times.
I think highly the stems you mention.

Every now and then Bontrager seems to have a brain fart. The older 2003- 2005 version of the Race X Lite wheels had some withe the hubs cracking at the spokes. But their carbon pieces all have a good track record as far as I know. And they actually make almost nothing of their own, the cranks are made by Truvative, or Sram you could say.

I've put a little under a thousand miles on a set I bought in August 2008. Having been ridden on some terrible roads west of Boston in equally terrible weather, they are still true and the hubs solid/smooth.

I have an XXX seat post. I wish I hadnt bought it. I did it in a fit of ignorance subjected to LBS salesmanship by the hep-cats at the local McTrek/McBontrager dealer.
It is way overweight compared to "claimed" and the seat adjustment isn't as nifty as the two bolt type I have on my OEM Cannondale aluminum seat post -and the weight of the Cannondale post is maybe an ounce more, if that. The OEM post is actually very nice and I might actually go back to it. For much less money, you can buy a lighter CF post with a better (two bolt) adjustment or a top notch aluminum post. But it wouldn't be a Bontrager -and evidently people think Trek and Bontrager brand is worth something more than the function value.
I have a Race or Race Lite stem that I don't use anymore (wrong length and diameter). It too is WAY overpriced for the quality and weight. Probably 2X.

I know Bontrager sometimes gets a bad rap, but I have been rolling on Bont wheels and tires for a good while, and they are excellent. My ass enjoys my Bont saddle as well.
Looking at a Felt F1 Sprint build this spring with Bont wheels, saddle, stem and handlebars.

I built my Felt CA1 with Bontrager parts including wheels, crank, stem, drops, and just need to finish with a seat post.
I like Selle San Marco saddles so I went with those.
