There's hope for geezers yet
This is a running story, not a cycling story, but obviously there are similarities.
There's hope for the Pcads of the world, even at an "advanced" age.

PS -- I note that this guy has a V02 max of 92.2, exceeded only by the immortal Bjørn Dæhlie, and higher than Lance Armstrong's 81. But it's not about one's natural physiology, alone. Other factors like will and determination play a part. (This is what Lance haters forget: he combines a terrific V02 capacity with fastidious, even obsessive, training routines and attention to detail. Plus he's got financial advantages.)
