my lbs has a 2008 felt f85 for $935...it has ultegra rear and 105 front, with 105 shifters...compact double crank...10 speed...what do you guys think about this for a first road bike...does the price seem reasonable?

this is a very nice 1st road bike at a good price. heck, this would even make a good second or third road bike.:)

You might be able to talk em down a little, looks like your dealer has em at 15% off now. My local felt LBS has 20% off now on 08's and 30% in the middle of March.

And I just got an F85 on Thursday.
(just waiting for my pedals and bits from PBK now)

Get it, I have the '07 one (red) and love it. My lbs gave 10% off due to newer models coming in.
