The obvious caption: Signmaker in a spot of bother after seeing his mistake on Versus coverage.

I dunno about captions, but after reading his sign all I can think is:

"Phil legit! Phil legit to quit!"

Maybe Phil Legit is an imperative with the space not duly emphasized, rather than a misspelling.

Phil, Leg It!

This clever pun on phonetic and syntactical ambiguity works to critique the sheer unambiguous tripe that was the Versus coverage.

He is offering Phil (and 'Paul with his jokes') a way to reclaim some dignity. Whether the signmaker's life is worthy of narration is another matter. I mean he didn't even write it in the obligatory yellow chalk.

So much for "No child left behind education" in the US.

Let no child get ahead so that no child is left behind.

Seriously, I have students who just sit still all day. If I held the class to their level, we wouldn't accomplish anything. No wonder my 12-14 year old students read at a 2nd grade level.

Lets not get started on "no child left behind". Worst education legislation ever.

Sorry, back to the caption contest on a picture that I can't see through my work filter.

Ha! My school district filter lets me see. Still, I try to avoid BF when on the clock.

Phil's narration would begin with-

"Harold could have paid a little more attention in Mr. Urbanknight's class...."

Well, he did write it with his eyes closed.

In that guy's defense, "Liggett" isn't exactly a word we use in our everyday parlance.

I guess this is a Lance thing which I'm not clued in on... I always thought Lance was a good biker but not a great person with people. However, the cycle community is really weird IMO.

Just saying.

But if you're going to be a stalker fan...

Just hearing.
