Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

help picking new wheelset.

I'm looking into buying my first new set of wheels. i've been riding for a few years, and my current wheels are trash (egg shaped). I'm in northwest ohio and there aren't any hills, so weight isn't a big issue. i'm 6'0 195 with track legs (ups employed _)

depending on how much food i could afford last year i rode between 100-150 miles a week. This year i would like to double it, and get fast enough to ride with the local club. Also i would like to start commuting to work a few times a week about 16 miles through upperclass, lowerclass, and downtown neighborhoods.

i'm thinking of running ultegra/cxp33 32spoke 3x rear($200) and a neuvation m28 aero 3 front($70). I was gonna go with a set of the m28's, but i'm pretty scared of the mixed reviews.

this way i figure i can get my old rear trued, and run it with the m28 on front for commutes/crappy downtown bar rides. and then run the m28 and cxp's on my country/open road rides.

any thoughts/suggestions would be welcomed.

help!

$315 is about as much as i can spend.
