Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Saddle Height

Hiya folks,

I have a question regarding the saddle height. I just completed riding an event this weekend, Cruising the Conejo, doing the half metric course. Lots of fun, really enjoyed it.

I'm looking at the pictures and wondering if it seems like my knees are getting pretty high up or if this is the proper extension.

Here are two different spots on the course. I am not having any soreness or anything. I installed a B-17 and am still making adjustments. (BTW, I get a bit of numbness around 20 miles. Should I change the tilt a bit?)

Thanks,

Sheldon

Tough to say from the pictures but here is a recent thread that might help: www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=51797

Good luck.
