A Year in France 5.0
A few pics since the last dispatch. The weather has gotten really nice, i just overhauled the bike, and all the cold and wet miles over winter seem to be paying off. I went out today for 3 hours in perfect 67 degree sunshine and felt so good. No warmers or shoe covers for the first time in months and it was one of those days where you can just stamp the big ring all day long.
anyway here's some recent pics...

troglodyte houses in the Lot valley

Gaillac vineyards

impromptu tasting

the haul

village of Castlenau in the background

well before the houses, humans lived in the caves above

some days you can go for over an hour without a single car passing

village of Cordes

Great pics as usual surferbruce, you are the envy of some of us who have been dealing with the less than pleasant winter.

You should realize that two of your tags right next to each other are:
'taking it in' followed by 'ass'. Just sayin'!

The scenery pics are great, but the picture of the pastries in the display brings back great memories. Ohh, those eclairs and croissants!!!

Genetics have failed me
*sigh* I seriously need to go back to Europe for some riding action again. Too beautiful to just pass it up.

We got a long stay visa without too much trouble, citizenship on the other hand will wait for the right french woman..

Love the Regal. I had one, swapped through 3-4 saddles looking for something a little lighter, and came back to the Regal. I do wish they'd make a slightly lighter, trimmed down one, but it's still the most comfortable saddle I've had.
