New tires on...
Newbie Question: Hold off on the flames.
Put on new tires Continental Grand Prix 4000s - got the old tires off - new ones on - no problem.
My question is this - How can I check to see if I may have pinched the tube? Pumped up to 100psi - holding air so I got the seal. Would just hate to get all kitted up - and flat out 100 yards from home.
Any other tips appreciated.
Thanks

The only way I check is when I'm seating the tire on the wheel and use my fingers to make sure that the tube is well tucked up into the tire and clear of the clincher area. If you're attentive to that while you're mounting the tire, it shouldn't be an issue. Also, typically if it's pinched in the clincher, it'll blow out almost immediately when you put air in it. Ask me how I know that...
Have fun on your ride, take an extra tube and co2.

Don't use tools to install tire.
Put enough air for the tube and tire to be firm. Don't air it so firm that you cannot push the tube away from the rim and verify that the tube is fully seated inside the tire and not pinched between the tire and rim. Go all the way around the tire on both sides. Then finish airing.
If you follow this procedure it is virtually impossible to pinch a tube.
Other precautions are to check the rim for sharp edges and around the valve stem hole. If applicable verify the integrity of the rim strip and that not spoke ends are exposed.
