Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They go on to my Trek 2100. What a difference in braking performance. After months of looking, I found it for a price of $120.00 brand new. Luckiiiii meiiiiii! I am just wayyyyy to happieeee!

Some other stores told me that i may have to wait for a while b4 they can get them in again. I guess i didnt have to wait that long!

I waited 6 weeks for them from Performance. Called Nashbar one day and they were in stock at $89.95. Took 20% off for the coupon and added $9 for shipping. Total cost: <$81. Called Performance, canceled order and lost out on my 10% members refund, but I got the brakes. I too, was happy.

No man, everybody has a different situation. The price you paid may be great for your area. However, if your willing to buy online, it's worth checking out.

I'm thinking about buying a late 90's model 2100. Are you happy with yours? Do you wish you had 105 or Ultegra full componentry? Tell me about the bike. I am a little in the dark. I've been riding a trek 7700 FX
