sks p35s on specialized allez triple? (2009)
I measured the clearance under the brakes (they're getting full of grit from riding around my poorly-drained campus) and it seems like the bike can accept these fenders...anyone have experience with these fenders/this bike?

I think that the only SKS fender set that will work are the Raceblades. Your bike doesn't have the eyelets holes necessary for the fender struts of the P35's. Good Luck.

you can use p-clamps on your fork/seatstays to emulate the eyelets, if the clearance under the brake bridge is there.
also, i've seen at least one person put their skewers through the hole at the base of the fender strut or whatever, and that seemed to work.
hope that makes sense and/or helps! don't give up hope just yet.

I don't really want the raceblades because I really want to protect the brakes from all the sand and crap that gets kicked into them.
I was reading about fitting smaller wheels to gain more clearance. I currently have 700x23 on there, could I go smaller?

I run the skinniest SKS FULL fenders on my CAAD4 commuter using P-clips and sehldon fender nuts. They fit under the brakes.
Pic (excuse the washed out color and crappiness of the cell phone cam, and the dirtiness of my commuter rig):

uspspro: could you do me a favor and measure the space between your rear brake calipers and rear wheel? I just want to see how it would compare to mine. Thank you so much in advance!
*edit*
clarification, i mean underneath the brakes.

I ride on '06 Cannondale Road Warrior. It does have eyelets for fender and I do use the SKS P35s with Conti Gatorskins 700c x 25 (and before that with Specialized Armadillos 700c x 25) for some winter/early spring riding. No problem with the fender clearance on my brakes.
I think the P-clamps are a great idea.
I tried using Sheldon's Problem Solver nuts but only got the front nut to work (and I had to buy a cheap allen head bolt 6x1mm). The bolt of the rear brake is long and because the brakes are used, the Sheldon Fender Nut doesn't recess all the way...a great idea and would work with canti brakes, no problem.
On my P35, there is a metal clamp that would click onto a chain stay bridge...if the bike had one, mine doesn't. I use a zip tie to hold that end of the fender to the seat post.
This is an OLD pic of my bike with the fenders installed. I know its not an Allez but maybe it will help...
