Looking for Sidi shoes, ideas?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking for Sidi shoes, ideas?

I have checked every website I can think of, as well as the only local shop that is listed on the Sidi site as a dealer. I am looking for a 46.5M, preferably a Genius5 to keep the price down. The cheapest I found them (in stock anyway) is Lickbike at $230 for the 2008s. I don't consider that cheap, especially when PBK and other UK sites sell the 2009s for ~$180. Thing is, on Wiggle they expect them in late JULY, and PBK doesn't have half sizes for the Mega lines.

So, anybody out there see these somewhere for a slightly more reasonable price? I doubt this will yield anything, but thought I would try. Thanks.

I second the ebay suggestion. I found my size 45 megas on ebay. It took a couple of weeks for them to show up, but it was worth the wait. I got them for less than $100.

Also, try searching with the word Sidi misspelled, you might find a real bargain that way.

Thank you, I appreciate that, but that is what I have now. They fit my flipper width feet, but are just a hair too short.

I looked and PBK doesn't have half sizes in the Mega range, or so their customer service person says.

Another good suggestion, but they also do not have my size.

I have no idea. I know the Mega fit my wide feet, though I'm sure others would as well.

I picked up these on eBay recently. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 I think it was like $285 USD including shipping. I was planning on getting Specialized S-Works until I found these.

PBK does not have very much in Ergo 2's- would also pick up a pair of Lux to compliment my other 2 Ergo 2's.

Ebay, but be patient. It took me a couple of weeks watching but I scored my Genius 5's for $68, with hardly a mark on the soles.

This place has the carbon soles in 46.5: http://www.bikebling.com/ProductDeta...arbon&CartID=0, but they are out of my league.
