Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Repairing CF bottle cage

So a few days ago on my ride the cage on my seat tube cracked cleanly on one side. It still held the bottle for the next 40 miles (I found the break at mile 60, who knows when it happened), but it scratched my leg the entire way.

Is there an easy way to fix this, or do I have to just go buy a new cage?

Sounds like it is designed and/or manufactured poorly.

I suspect that you may have problems with the cages again. If you are ever in the market for new carbon cages check out Arundel cages. You wont have any problems with them.
