Search and Massage

The search function within the road site ("Search this forum, not Search the forums) has been sorting everything by latest post and not relevance like it used to. well for me anyway. anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

also, while I'm here, i was searching for DIY massages. anyone recommend anything to massage the legs yourself?

use THE STICK!
or a foam roller.

Use google's search instead and append "site:bikeforums.net" to your search query. BF's search is crap.

+1

I tested it by STICKING only one leg for two weeks. That leg was noticeable less stiff than the other. I'm impressed/surprised by the product.

huh?

The search function still has the option of sorting by any number of criteria, including "relevancy". It's in one of the several "Search Options" listed on the Search the Forums page. Maybe yours defaulted to something else for some reason, but it's still there...

1) yes
2) read the website to pick the one that's right for you.

yourself? Silly human....yellow pages.....massage therapist ask for the deep tissue (no, not the happy ending)

the stick is a gimmick compared to real work. The stick can't do IT bands.

Either that or send your significant other to massage school.

huh? whats so confusing...there is a search function on the left of the page within the road bike forum....then there is the main "Search the Forums" function on top of all pages....the search within the page was more convenient, now its not.

I work with a girl who's side job is massage...she can get me a good deal, but still, i want something for a little relief after every ride. and im not paying $40 after every ride. the stick sounds perfect for me,hows it a gimmick if the people who use it say its amazing.

people also say that shamwow works too.

Epson salt bath after you ride.

If you are having muscle problems after every ride, you need to drink more water.

funny cuz i just bought this

http://dofb.com/wp-content/uploads/2...avel_stick.jpg

earlier today...used it at work and immediately fell in love. i asked my LBS about it, they love it, and the dudes at Road Runner (where i bought it) and as soon as i asked their eyes lit up and they raved about it and were surprised that ONE was in stock...no other stores in San Diego had them because they were sold out and no one can hold onto them long...so i had to drive out to Convoy to get it.

i never said i had muscle problems. just a little sore after hill repeats. THANKS so much to those who recommended it...and those who wonder about it, get it!

also make sure to get the red "travel" one because it is the cheapest ($30) and is plenty long for the legs:)

+1, one of the better cycling purchases I have made.
