Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

@Humongus - Man, you're killing me...my white CAAD9-5, same as yours, isn't scheduled to be built until 5/16. I did call the LBS and Cannondale both again. There is a chance I could see it sooner...but those pr0n shots....DAAAAAAMN, stop that!!!

Ah, just got back from a brisk 10 mile ride (weather isn't especially nice today).. But here's a bit more pr0n to tide you over until mid-May.

Nice choice.

You should rotate the bars down a little, flip the stem and lose the dork disk and reflectors.
A road bike doesn't have "safety features"

Lose the Pie pan and the reflector, but I'd keep the bars where they are.

Everyone hates on the Shimano wheels, I did not think they were bad but I did go with lighter wheels on my 08 CAAD 9-5 now.

Nice clean CAAD. now go get it dirty.

I expected this... But hey, I like them fine. And the annodized nipples match the graphics & barrel adjusters on the brakes so

Very nice. From a 2007 CAAD9 owner, ditch the tires now before you start getting the the flats. I had about 5 in the first 500 miles on those Maxxis tires and I don't ride in areas that are prone to glass, nails, etc. I moved to some Race Lite Hardcase and nary a flat since. Enjoy your bike.

Nice Bike!
I have the black version. That seat didn't even leave the shop. I doubt you'll get used to it. But then again saddles are pretty personal. I switched saddle and seatpost first.
Next is the bars.
The wheels are fine. And they match

I almost cried when I fell (darn clipless!) and scratched up the right hood. At that point I was glad I had taken those posterity photos.
