Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've seen mention of this dude here on Bike Forums before...must have been before my time. Is he for real? That one paragraph was the literary equivalent of fingernails dragging across a chalk board. And the spelling…don't even get me started on that.

It's not proper grammar, that's for sure.

if he really exists, and really spent $60 for the services of a texan professional, then his next blog entry will most likely have a similar title to this thread.

Whatya bet it was the first time he ever had such a close interaction like this with something that doesn't require an electric pump?

Well, a scalpel in his hands would kind of be a weapon.

Why is he going to strip clubs. Ft. Sam Houston is a medical training base. The females outnumber the males or it sure seemed like it. If my memory serves me right, the third floors of the barracks was were the action was.

No, no... Ft. Sam is the home of the Army Medical Department... anyone in a medical area (docs, nurses, vets, scientists, medics, techs, etc) starts his/her training there.

At least I have the knowledge that if I ever meet him he'll have to call me sir and salute me.

Yea, I remember when he was enlisting he was going Medic. You also have the advantage that you will probably recognize him and he won't know who you are, lol.

It would be too funny if he ended up sharing a duty station with you.
