Hybrid Bike tire
My dad would like to know if he can use a narrower tire on a hybrid bike rim. The rim is 700 x 35 and he wants to know if he can put a 700 x 25 tire on it. Thanks.

The short answer is yes. I'm guessing this might have been a bit off topic for the road cycling forums. You might get all sorts of answers very quickly on the commuter forum.

Hybrid bikes usually(the one's I've had and worked on) have rims with 19mm inner width, so the recommended minimum tire is 700x28. I don't think a 700x25 would fly off the rim, but measure to be sure and/or follow the rim manufacturers recommendation just to be on the safe side.
